The outdoor onsen offered breathtaking views. The pickup service from the station could have been more frequent.

The private onsen baths were incredibly relaxing.
Unfortunately, the pick-up service from the train station was infrequent, making transportation to the hotel quite a challenge, especially since it is located out of town. The outdoor onsen was delightful, but stepping out into the cold weather left us shivering while waiting for the shower water to heat up. Additionally, while the hotel retains its original charm, it does feel a bit run down in places, which diminished the overall experience.

Why it’s almost great (but not quite)
The private onsen experience was a highlight , and the marbled beef dinner was truly exceptional. Staff felt like family and went above and beyond to create a personalized environment for us.
The decor felt dated in places , which detracted slightly from the overall charm. Additionally, the location was a bit remote, requiring extra travel to access local attractions comfortably.

This was a good option for resting in Yufu with great value for money. I loved how the staff took care of our luggage and even had breakfast prepared for us early in the morning. Pack some warm clothes if you plan to use the outdoor onsen during the colder months.

The private onsens in my room were a standout feature—two outdoor baths with stunning views and one indoor bath that felt cozy. Breakfast was a treat. everything was prepared perfectly, showcasing the attention to detail. The service truly shined, especially from Ms. Darali, who ensured that my early morning meal was ready and even coordinated my transportation with ease. The staff really made me feel at home. One downside was the pick-up service from the train station. it felt a bit infrequent, making my arrival a little tricky. The location, while beautiful, is quite remote, so be prepared for some travel time.

Exceptional Stay and Personalized Service
My stay was nothing short of amazing! The room had three private onsen baths—two beautiful outdoor ones with breathtaking views and one cozy indoor bath. The dining experience was a highlight, with every meal thoughtfully prepared and served. I particularly loved the shabu shabu dinner on our first night. The staff was incredibly attentive, and the gesture of taking our photo with the owner's poodle was such a lovely touch. Just a heads-up, the location was a bit remote, so prepare for a little travel to get to local attractions.
